Founder & CEO
Julie Andreeff Jensen is a battle-tested, mission-oriented advisor and executive. Founders, CEOs, elected leaders, owners and athletes, and prominent individuals have relied upon her judgment, energy, and depth of experience in launching inspiring projects and navigating challenging issues and periods of significant change.
Before founding Jasper, Julie worked at the highest levels of business, sports, and politics. Julie worked in the National Football League as a Senior Vice President of the Washington Football Team. As a direct report to the President and member of the executive leadership, she led the communications and public affairs functions during the team’s rebrand and a period of significant transition. Before the NFL, Julie served as the first Chief Corporate Affairs and Communications Officer at Citadel, where she built the corporate affairs function and oversaw the firm’s reputation and brand strategy.
Julie joined Citadel from Brunswick where she was a partner. During her eight years at the firm, she advised Fortune 500 companies and CEOs on critical business issues including reputation management. Julie started her career in politics working on Capitol Hill as an aide to the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy and served in senior roles on multiple presidential and congressional campaigns.
Julie received her undergraduate and law degrees from American University. She was a four-year member and captain of the women's Division I championship swim team and served as an assistant coach for the team after graduating while she attended law school. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors for American University's Top 10 nationally ranked School of Public Affairs.
Julie is passionate about mentoring women in business, politics, and sports. She grew up in Buffalo, New York and is a proud and loyal Buffalo Bills fan.

Executive Vice President
Ashley Whitlock has nearly two decades of experience helping individuals and organizations build and implement reputation-enhancing communications strategies.
As Senior Vice President at Jasper Advisors, Ashley helps lead the firm’s growing sports practice, providing strategic communications and reputation counsel for individuals, teams, leagues and brands. In this role she has worked across most professional sports leagues, including MLB, MLS, NWSL, WNBA, NBA, and NASCAR as well as a variety of well-known brands on high-profile business and brand initiatives and reputation needs like new venues and venue renovations, litigation, championship runs and wins, and historic partnerships and sponsorships.
Ashley worked in the National Football League where she led internal, business and executive communications for the Washington Commanders. In this role she also oversaw the communications campaign supporting the rollout of the team’s new name and identity and the development of the franchise’s first corporate communications function, as well as serving as a media spokesperson.
Previously, Ashley worked with Harvard’s Belfer Center to design and teach crisis communications strategies for election officials nationwide, while also providing strategic guidance for utilizing traditional and social media to educate voters and provide timely, correct voter information in advanced of the 2020 general election.
Ashley began her career at Edelman Public Relations where she provided executive-level strategic communications guidance and led communications campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, iconic brands, nonprofit organizations and corporate philanthropies.
Ashley earned her Master in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and her Bachelor of Business Administration from Mercer University. She is a Pat Tillman Foundation Scholar and is actively involved in organizations and causes supporting U.S. veterans and military families.

Senior Associate
In her role as an Associate at Jasper Advisors, Jackie monitors and analyzes client media coverage across various platforms, crafts compelling pitches and briefs, and fosters strong client relationships. She is responsible for managing client deliverables and supporting her team members in achieving their objectives.
Before joining Jasper Advisors, Jackie was a legislative intern for Virginia Delegate Suhas Subramanyam during the 2023 Virginia General Assembly Session. Additionally, Jackie served as a government relations fellow for Match Group, the largest global portfolio of popular online dating services. In this role, she accompanied the lobbying team in advocating tirelessly for anti-trust legislation on Capitol Hill.
Jackie graduated with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Policy. During her undergrad, she showcased her commitment to community engagement, serving as a service learning teaching assistant and experiential learning student fellow. Jackie routinely met with the University's Provost, deans, and professors to discuss the transformative impact community engagement had on both local communities and the holistic student experience.
Jackie has a deep appreciation for the intersection of sports, government, politics, and media in the dynamic environment at Jasper Advisors. She enjoys attending any and all sports games, especially in the company of friends and family, and loves to spend time outside.

Jessie Johnson has extensive experience in sports communications and public relations, helping athletes and organizations craft and execute strategies that amplify their stories, enhance their reputations, and build meaningful connections.
In her role as a Senior Associate & Executive Assistant at Jasper Advisors, Jessie supports the day-to-day management of the firm and their clients. Jessie is also responsible for driving marketing initiatives and fostering client relationships through seamless coordination, creative contributions, and strategic support across multiple areas of the business. Lastly, Jessie leads the Jasper intern program, spearheading recruitment and development processes.
Prior to joining Jasper Advisors, Jessie served as the Head of Media & Public Relations at Equity Sports, where she directed all media and public relations activities for the agency's roster of over 80 professional athlete clients across NFL, MLB, NBA. In this role, she developed comprehensive strategies to amplify client stories, secure positive media coverage, and elevate the agency's brand presence.
Jessie also worked in the National Football League, where she supported business and football communications priorities for the Washington Commanders working closely with the executive team and coaching staff. She managed various communications efforts during her tenure with the team, including developing and implementing a player relations program, securing media coverage for the team and its business initiatives, and preparing spokespeople and coordinating media strategies for high-profile initiatives – including working directly with the NFL’s first full-time African American female assistant coach, Jennifer King.
Jessie holds a master’s degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University.

Vice President
Emily Tillett is a seasoned strategic communications leader with expertise in media engagement across broadcast, digital, and live platforms. As Vice President at Jasper Advisors, she continues that work in communication strategy and reputation management for individuals, teams, leagues, and brands.
She has nearly two decades of experience working in and with media as a former network producer for ABC News, MSNBC, The Associated Press and CBS News.
Previously as Senior Director of Broadcast Media for Avoq she worked to shape narratives, manage high-stakes messaging, and delivered impactful results for clients across many sectors including Google, The Ad Council, MLB, Camp Woodward, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation among others.
Emily applies her knack and knowledge for navigating the breaking news landscape on quick deadlines across the spectrum of sports, politics, technology and health to help secure national and top-tier local placements for a vast array of clients.
Her love of sports is extended to her family in Northern Virginia where she can be found cheering on her son’s baseball team and her daughter’s soccer games.

The name Jasper Advisors was inspired by the concept of “crystallized intelligence” 1 and the Jasper gemstone, which is known to “sustain and support through times of stress” and “encourage honesty with one’s self.”2 It “provides courage to assertively tackle problems, stimulates the imagination, and helps transform ideas into action.”3 Our aspiration is to embody these same principles in serving our clients.
